Airport Expo Dubai is the latest
addition to the exhibition industry in the Middle East. It was set
up in 1999 to augment Dubai’s position as the leading exhibition
venue in the region and complements the role of Dubai World Trade
Centre (DWTC) to promote trade and commerce with the rest of the
World. DWTC now manages gross exhibition space of 53,000 square
meters after it took over the management of Airport Expo Dubai and
rubs shoulders with the best exhibition organisers in the
World.
The Expo is
adequately equipped to host exhibitions, conventions and conferences
that measure up to prevalent international standards. Since its
inauguration in 1999, the Expo has successfully hosted two mega
events: the 3rd largest air show in the World - Dubai
Airshow 2000 - and the largest-ever E-commerce conference held in
the Middle East attended by 3,500 delegates. The state-of-the-art
Expo can be adapted to the requirements of all types of exhibitions
and is backed by the efficient management of Dubai World Trade
Centre.
Just two minutes drive from the
airport, less than 10 minutes from Dubai World Trade Centre and
about 15 minutes from the heart of the city, Airport Expo Dubai is
ideally located to offer maximum functionality and flexibility to
exhibitors. The complex has a total floor space of 23,308 square
meters spread between two large halls and a picturesque central
plaza and is the most impressive exhibition venue in the Middle
East. It is located in the South Eastern corner of the Dubai
International Airport Complex adjacent to the Royal Flight
hangers. |
